The Omni Church began as a dream in my heart in the summer of 2003 to establish a church as diverse as the city and the people that live in it; a church where all people from all walks and seasons of life could grasp the gospel at a transformational level and live it out for the betterment of the city and make God's name great in all places. We are pleading for God to gather a core group that looks like Dallas with its great cultural, racial, socio-economic and generational diversity. God is now drawing together people from within Dallas and from around the metroplex to present an intentionally diverse expression of a contemporary, casual, Christian, and Biblically functioning community in downtown.
Omni is a place for all. It's a place to build friendships, almost as if you were starting a family. It's making a difference; the music, the fellowship, the diversity, and the message. It's all in there. Some call it church, others will call it home, but we call it... Omni….A church for all of us. Every day we will let God give His best shot through us, so that all people are changed. Our faith becomes more than ideal; it becomes real missional living, a refreshing overflow.
We believe that God is about to do something really special in Downtown Dallas, and we are completely thrilled at the idea of having a part to play in it.
